Baghdad: National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji received the Iranian military attaché in Baghdad, Major General Majid Qali Pour, to discuss bilateral security and stability. The meeting took place in Al-Araji's office, focusing on enhancing collaboration between Iraq and Iran. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions emphasized the importance of activating memoranda of understanding to control the borders and continuing cooperation in combating terrorism and smuggling. Al-Araji reiterated Iraq's stance against using its airspace to violate Iran or any other neighboring country, underscoring a commitment to regional peace and security.
