Baghdad: The Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Qasim al-Araji, has expressed commendation for the significant national role played by the tribes of Wasit in reinforcing national unity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji’s media office reported that he met with Sheikh Imad Rashid al-Sayyadi, the leader of the Albu Sayyad al-Dubaisat tribe, along with other prominent figures from Wasit Governorate. The meeting’s agenda focused on the current situation in Wasit, emphasizing the importance of social cohesion and the critical role played by the traditional Iraqi tribes in fostering security, stability, and peaceful coexistence among Iraq’s diverse communities.

Al-Araji acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the Wasit tribes in solidifying national unity. He praised their community and tribal initiatives, which have been instrumental in promoting harmony and understanding among the various segments of the Iraqi populace.
