Baghdad: National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji discussed with the Spanish Ambassador to Baghdad, Alicia Rico Perez, cooperation in the field of combating terrorism. A statement by the Chancellery said: "Al-Araji received the Spanish Ambassador, and during the meeting, they discussed the development of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and areas of joint cooperation, especially in the field of combating terrorism and exchanging expertise and information."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the situations in Syria, Gaza, and Lebanon were also discussed, and the importance of working to sustain the stability of the region was emphasized, by making greater efforts by all parties.
