Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji received the Head of the Kurdistan Region Representation in Baghdad, Fares Issa, on Sunday. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation and coordination between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region, especially in the areas of security, intelligence, border control, and combating drug trafficking.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the National Security Advisory issued a press release stating that the discussions aimed at bolstering security and stability across the country. Both parties stressed the need for continued collaboration to serve the supreme national interest and to fortify unity in addressing various challenges.
