Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji received the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Anil Bora Inan, on Wednesday. During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries and peoples, and the importance of continuing cooperation on issues and files of common interest.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting also discussed the water issue and the implementation of water infrastructure by Turkish companies in Iraq, as well as border security between the two countries. The two sides stressed the need for continued cooperation between the two neighboring countries on issues and files related to border control, water, and combating terrorism and drugs, in a way that enhances the security and stability of the two countries and the region.
