Baghdad: National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji emphasized the vital role played by Iraqi tribes in strengthening security, stability, and promoting social cohesion across the country.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji received on Thursday the Emir of the Rabi’a tribe, Emir Mohammed Rabi’a. The meeting focused on ways to enhance social unity, reject extremist ideologies, and discussed the significant role of tribes in supporting security forces.
Al-Araji affirmed that the Iraqi government, headed by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, highly values the national contributions of tribal leaders and dignitaries, praising their direct engagement with citizens and their efforts in reinforcing the rule of law and building trust between the public and state institutions.
