Manama: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji has affirmed Iraq’s ongoing cooperation with the international community and NATO, focusing on humanitarian and advisory fields. This statement was made during his meeting with NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Cavo Draconi at the 21st Manama Dialogue conference in Bahrain.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the National Security’s media office revealed that the meeting took place in Manama, where the two leaders discussed the continuation of cooperation between Iraq and the NATO mission. They also reviewed regional challenges and emphasized the importance of bolstering regional and international peace.

Al-Araji expressed his gratitude to the NATO mission in Iraq for its significant training and advisory roles in enhancing the capabilities of Iraqi forces. He stressed that Iraq remains committed to collaborating with the international community in humanitarian and advisory sectors, as well as in exchanging expertise and experiences.

Admiral Draconi reiterated his support for the NATO mission in Iraq, highlighting its needs in consultation, training, and the exchange of information and expertise.
