Baghdad: Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives Farhad Al-Atroshi emphasized that political understanding, stability, and the implementation of the Constitution are essential for enabling all parties in Iraq to fulfill their respective roles. He highlighted Iraq’s diversity as a strength that requires effective management during a dialogue session at the eighth Baghdad Dialogue Conference.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Atroshi remarked that through political understanding, stability, and the implementation of the Constitution, every party can effectively fulfill its role. He noted that while diversity is a source of strength for Iraq, it necessitates proper management to harness its full potential. Al-Atroshi also pointed out the absence of the Federal Council, which represents the other half of the legislative authority.

He further stated that Iraq needs a transformative change within its legislative authority, with support from the government, while highlighting that the Revolutionary Command Council’s decision remains in effect.
