Al-Burhan Declares General Mobilization, Vows Battle’s Conclusion in Darfur

Khartoum: Sudanese Army Chief of Staff, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, announced a general mobilization during his visit to Gezira State, asserting that the ongoing conflict will not conclude until the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are completely dismantled.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Burhan addressed both soldiers and civilians, emphasizing the persistence of the struggle until the RSF faces retribution. He firmly stated that there will be no truce or negotiations with the RSF unless they are consolidated in a single location and surrender their arms, indicating that the conflict is likely to reach its conclusion in Darfur.

Al-Burhan issued a call to arms to all able-bodied citizens, urging, "Whoever can bear arms should come forward," in a bid to bolster the war effort against the RSF.
