Baghdad: The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayadh, engaged in discussions regarding security cooperation and regional conditions with Christopher David Beam, the Canadian Ambassador to Baghdad. The meeting focused on exploring the prospects for enhanced security collaboration between Iraq and Canada, alongside an assessment of the prevailing security situation and challenges within the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions underscored Iraq’s commitment to preserving the achievements of its security institutions and maintaining stability across the country. Al-Fayadh expressed Iraq’s readiness to work with its partners to address the ongoing security challenges and reinforce the progress made in recent years.
