Basra: Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayadh, convened a meeting at the PMF Operations Command headquarters in Basra Governorate. During this meeting, al-Fayadh reviewed the overall security situation in the governorate and the responsibilities assigned to PMF units.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Fayadh highlighted the necessity of improving coordination with various security agencies to maintain stability in the region. He also stressed the importance of maintaining unit readiness and enhancing the efficiency and capabilities of fighters to keep pace with developments and modern technology.

Al-Fayadh was accompanied by a security delegation that included several PMF leaders during his visit to Basra.
