Baghdad / NINA / – The head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh Al-Fayyad, confirmed that the Popular Mobilization will remain the real guarantee of Iraq’s security and stability, and the backing and support for our valiant army, our police and the rest of our security forces.
Al-Fayyadh said in a statement on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of the city of Mosul: “Today we remember a great epic that the Iraqis fought and a victory that God Almighty bestowed on His faithful servants who made a covenant, so they believed the covenant and steadfastly, so God spread them and gave them the determination with which they conquered the enemies, broke their thorns and tore them apart, after the forces of evil and darkness wagered a bet, that the battle is intractable and impossible.”
He added, “the celebration of the anniversary of the liberation of the dear Mosul from the defilement of ISIS, fills the heart and mind with spectra of memory of those difficult days that we all lived through, and which we crossed together victorious, as Mosul was a gateway to everything that was achieved after the announcement of the complete and final victory and the cleansing of the holy land of Iraq from all usurper and obscurantist.”/ End
