Baghdad: The Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh al-Fayyad, met today, Thursday, with the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri. A statement by al-Fayyad’s office indicated that “the meeting addressed the overall political and security situation in the country.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, both sides commended the success of the electoral process and the accompanying secure organizational measures. They emphasized the importance of proceeding with completing constitutional requirements in a way that contributes to strengthening and consolidating stability.
