Baghdad: The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, Faleh al-Fayyad, met with the Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, to discuss key matters concerning Iraq's future.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Fayyad's office revealed that both leaders exchanged congratulations on the recent electoral process. The elections were noted for broad participation and transparent organizational procedures, which have been credited with restoring trust between the public and state institutions.

Both al-Fayyad and al-Khazali highlighted the importance of prioritizing dialogue and national interest to fulfill constitutional requirements. This approach is seen as essential for strengthening Iraq's path to stability and supporting comprehensive development plans across the nation.
