A delegation from the Counter-Terrorism Service also met with the Governor of Najaf, Youssef Ganawi, to discuss joint security concerns and cooperative strategies.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the gathering with the Governor’s office centered on the distribution of residential land to the families of martyrs and injured members of the Counter-Terrorism Service. Discussions aimed at streamlining procedures for these allocations were held to ensure efficiency and compliance with established protocols.

The Governor of Najaf reiterated the local government’s commitment to fairly distributing residential plots to eligible residents, including government employees and security personnel.
