Al-Fayyad Discusses Strengthening Security Cooperation with Turkish Foreign Minister


Baghdad: The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayyad, met today, Sunday, with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss strengthening security cooperation between the two countries.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF Media Office stated in a press release that Al-Fayyad received the Turkish Foreign Minister at his office in Baghdad. During this significant meeting, both parties explored various ways to enhance security cooperation between Iraq and Turkey, emphasizing the importance of elevating joint coordination efforts to maintain security and stability in both countries.



The statement further highlighted discussions on regional developments and the exploration of strategies to support efforts aimed at stabilizing the region. This cooperation is aimed at serving the common interests of Iraq and Turkey, which are described as friendly nations.
