Baghdad: Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Hamid Naim Al-Ghazzi emphasized that Imam Hussein's revolution continues to serve as a guiding light for generations in the construction of societies and the protection of human dignity.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Ghazzi stated, "On the occasion of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), we recall with profound reverence the enduring path charted by the Master of Martyrs in sacrifice and redemption, and the reformist message founded on upholding the values of truth and justice and confronting corruption and deviation, so that his revolution remains a beacon guiding generations in building societies and safeguarding human dignity."
He further acknowledged the millions of pilgrims arriving in the holy city of Karbala to mark this significant occasion, expressing deep appreciation for the concerted efforts of state institutions, security forces, the two holy shrines, local governments, service, and health personnel, volunteer teams, and Husseini processions. These collective efforts ensure the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage and reflect Iraq's image of solidarity, social cohesion, and effective organization, embodying the spirit of selfless giving taught by Imam Hussein.
Al-Ghazzi concluded by praying for divine protection over Iraq and its people, urging the nation's sons to follow the path of reform and service, inspired by the enduring values of Imam Hussein's revolution.
