Al-Hakim and Abu Mazen Deliberate Over Government Appointments and Cabinet Completion

Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, engaged in discussions with Ahmed al-Jubouri, also known as Abu Mazen, head of the National Masses Party, focusing on forthcoming government appointments and the completion of the cabinet.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Alliance's office highlighted al-Hakim's emphasis during the meeting on the necessity of appointing ministers to the vacant ministries who are equipped to tackle the current phase and its challenges. Al-Hakim reiterated his support for the government's reform agenda and its anti-corruption efforts, renewing his call to address major corruption cases.

Furthermore, al-Hakim advocated for the enactment of a provincial law, stating that such legislation would empower local governments with their constitutional and legal rights and enhance their revenues, thereby enabling them to provide essential services.
