Al-Hakim and Al-Khazali Discuss Developments in the Political Landscape and the Unity of the Coordination Framework


Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, met with Qais al-Khazali, Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, to discuss political developments in Iraq and the region.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the National State Forces Alliance stated that the meeting, held at al-Hakim’s office in Baghdad, reviewed the latest developments in the political landscape and ways to enhance national stability.



During the meeting, al-Hakim emphasized the importance of moving forward with fulfilling constitutional entitlements and resolving the issue of the three presidencies, which will contribute to strengthening political stability and consolidating the democratic process in the country.



He stressed the importance of a unified and institutionalized coordination framework, explaining that this unity is essential for Iraq’s stability, as proven by experience in the past period. Al-Hakim also pointed to the importance of regional stability, calling for adopting dialogue as a means to address outstanding issues between different parties, in order to enhance regional security and stability.
