Cairo: The Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aati during his visit to Egypt, where he expressed Iraq’s firm rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land and infringe on their rights.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, al-Hakim emphasized support for Egypt’s significant efforts in confronting such attempts. He urged the international community to achieve justice by supporting the establishment of a Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital. Al-Hakim lauded the progress in bilateral relations between the two nations and advocated for further efforts to solidify this historical relationship through coordination at various levels, especially within regional and international organizations. Such efforts, he suggested, would strengthen Arab decision-making and create opportunities amid rapid global changes.

Al-Hakim also highlighted the importance of Syria’s security and stability, advocating for the Syrian people’s right to shape their future to ensure prosperity. He condemned Israeli attacks on Syria and called for firm international stances to preserve Syrian sovereignty. He commended Egyptian diplomacy’s efforts to bridge regional differences and address regional issues, focusing on solutions that uphold the national state and people’s rights to a dignified life.

Furthermore, al-Hakim noted Iraq’s current state of recovery, highlighting political, social, security, and service stability. He praised the Iraqi government’s role in providing services and infrastructure, signifying a positive trajectory for the nation.
