Baghdad: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, recently met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to discuss the latest political developments, results of the recent elections, and the current state of Iraqi diplomacy.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, al-Hakim highlighted the significance of reflecting positive achievements within Iraqi foreign policy. He stated, “Iraq has achieved significant accomplishments on the political, social, and security levels, the most recent being the electoral success, which reflects the Iraqi people’s commitment to the democratic process and their support for the political system.”
Al-Hakim also underscored the importance of adhering to constitutional timelines for forming the next government and selecting the three presidencies. He urged that public interest should take precedence over private interests and called for this principle to guide all efforts to bolster stability and better serve the citizens.
