Al-Hakim And Minister Of Interior Emphasize Combating Drugs And Advancing Automation Project


Baghdad: The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, and the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, have underscored the critical importance of combating drugs and advancing the automation project in Iraq.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim expressed appreciation for the security efforts that were evident during the Arab Summit in Baghdad. He highlighted the importance of continuing the automation project while integrating modern technology to enhance services provided to citizens. Al-Hakim emphasized the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing connection with citizens throughout their lives, which underscores the ministry’s pivotal role in public welfare.



Furthermore, Al-Hakim pointed out the necessity to develop the rescue sector and improve relief efforts aimed at aiding citizens. He stressed the significance of combating drugs by employing modern prevention and treatment methods, while also distinguishing between drug dealers and users.



Al-Hakim also highlighted the security services’ role in ensuring electoral security. He noted the importance of providing equal opportunities for all citizens to express their opinions and projects, which is vital for maintaining a fair and democratic electoral process.
