Baghdad: Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, engaged in discussions with the Charg© d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Baghdad, Daniel Rubinstein, focusing on developments in local and regional situations and affairs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, Al-Hakim expressed concern over the renewed aggression of the Israeli entity on Gaza. He emphasized the need to strengthen security and peace through dialogue and logic, while avoiding wars and their consequences. Al-Hakim asserted Iraq’s pioneering experience in combating terrorism and its ability to confront security challenges. He highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States to serve mutual interests and maintain Iraq’s sovereignty and decision-making independence.

Al-Hakim also highlighted the promising opportunities available in Iraq across various fields, urging American companies to invest in these opportunities. He emphasized that such investments would strengthen the partnership between the two countries, support the Iraqi economy, and facilitate the exchange of expertise. Al-Hakim reiterated Iraq’s commitment to developing its international relations and fostering openness with the global community.
