Al-Hakim calls on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassies and Consulates abroad to work on showing the true face of Iraq

Baghdad Head of the Civil State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our Embassies and Consulates abroad to work on showing the true face of Iraq.

Al-Hakim said in a statement, “The anniversary of the Iraqi Diplomatic Day and the celebration of nearly a century since the founding of the first Iraqi Foreign Ministry in 1924 passes, and our country, the region and the world are sailing amid waves of crises and disagreements and a set of political, security, economic and cultural predictions, while the new era of our young democratic experience requires consideration and dealing objectively with what it surrounds us regionally and internationally.”

He added that we are marked by our diplomatic effort, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our Embassies and Consulates abroad, to work on showing the true face of Iraq, and to contribute to drawing the features of the policy of openness with brotherly and friendly countries on the basis of mutual interests and joint relations in a manner that preserves Iraqi sovereignty, and for Iraq to be a bridge of communication and sympathy and a link between the parties in the region and the world.
