Baghdad: Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, met today at his office in Baghdad with Hadi al-Amiri, Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, to discuss developments in the political scene and the upcoming constitutional entitlements.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, al-Hakim emphasized the importance of adhering to the established timelines and respecting the will of the voters as the foundation for consolidating the democratic process. He stressed the necessity of preserving the stability achieved thanks to the sacrifices of the Iraqi people, explaining that this stability encompasses security, political, and social dimensions. He also pointed to the importance of working to transform it into lasting stability that guarantees security and development.

Al-Hakim highlighted the importance of focusing on the positive messages conveyed by the recent elections, primarily the public’s commitment to the democratic process and its support for the political system. He called for serious work to fulfill the aspirations of the Iraqi people and confront challenges in a way that strengthens trust between the state and society and safeguards national achievements.
