Baghdad The head of the Alliance of National State Forces, Ammar Al-Hakim, discussed with the Acting Minister of Electricity, Adel Karim, the reality of energy in Iraq.
Al-Hakim stressed, according to a statement by his office, the need for concerted efforts in order to provide the best services to the Iraqi citizen, especially electric energy, stressing the need to work on alternative energy and diversifying production sources such as using solar energy cells and urging citizens to acquire these systems.
He pointed to the importance of developing all stages of production, transportation, distribution and collection, and intensifying rationalization and education campaigns on rationing consumption, indicating the need to protect towers and reduce the loss of electrical energy in the transmission lines.
