Erbil: The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, called for adherence to the diversity of Iraq, emphasizing its role as a source of enrichment for the nation’s society during a visit to the Kurdistan Region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hakim’s office released a statement noting that al-Hakim met with sheikhs and dignitaries of the Barzinji tribe at the Sheikh Waria al-Wilani Takia, where he reflected on significant moments from Iraq’s history. Al-Hakim highlighted the common values of loyalty to Islam, the noble Messenger, and Ahl al-Bayt, urging the nation to embrace its diversity.

Al-Hakim remarked on Iraq’s journey through significant challenges towards achieving calm and stability, commending the broad participation in recent elections as a testament to increasing democratic awareness. He underscored the necessity of dialogue and fostering mutual trust among all parties, advocating for cooperation and open communication to achieve a secure and flourishing homeland.
