Baghdad: The Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, has called for the consolidation of the Turkmen situation and the resolution of existing differences during a meeting with Muhammad Semaan, the head of the Turkmen Front.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim underscored the historical ties between his movement and the Turkmen community, highlighting the longstanding positions they have taken together. He stressed that the Turkmen should have a significant role in future governments, reflecting their status as a key community in the nation.

Additionally, al-Hakim pointed out the critical nature of the upcoming elections, emphasizing the necessity for the Turkmen to have parliamentary representation proportional to their demographic and social standing. He also reiterated the need for broad, effective, and informed participation in these elections to ensure proper representation and influence.
