Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement, held separate meetings with Muthanna al-Samarrai, head of the Azm Alliance, and Ahmed al-Asadi, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, to deliberate on the political process following the recent elections.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement released by the Wisdom Movement office highlighted al-Hakim’s emphasis on the significance of the parliamentary elections in fostering and maintaining stability. Al-Hakim remarked, “The Iraqi people have spoken, and the political forces must fulfill their electoral promises to achieve what the Iraqi citizen aspires to.” He further noted the high voter turnout in provinces liberated from ISIS as a strong indicator of the citizens’ dedication to the democratic process.
