The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed that Iraq today is seen as a station for the stability of the region.
Al-Hakim called, during his meeting with a group of elites and competencies in the National Wisdom Movement, to invest in the state of security, political and social stability to achieve sustainable development and the aspirations of Iraqi society, indicating that Iraq, by virtue of experience, is able today to manage its internal differences and formulate them in a way that facilitates and enhances decision-making.
He stressed that Iraq today is seen as a station for the stability of the region, as there is an international and regional will for the stability of Iraq.
He called for broad, informed and effective participation in the upcoming elections, and fulfillment of participation requirements, including updating biometric cards.
He explained that the advantage of these elections lies in the capabilities available to the governorates through the budget, which requires the formation of efficient local governments that produce competent and impartial governors, in addition to being the first elections to be held by a law that is the same as the law of the House of Representatives.
He stressed the need to work to serve the public, indicating the importance of distinguishing between procedures and achievements, as statesmen are more concerned with achievement than drowning in procedures.
