Baghdad: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, emphasized the importance of broad and conscious participation in the upcoming elections, during a meeting on Saturday evening with a group of tribal sheikhs, dignitaries, and residents of Babylon province. He urged voters to select competent candidates from qualified national lists.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim offered his condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and Imam Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon them), highlighting the significant role played by Imam Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him) in reviving Islamic values and principles, and in alleviating the despair felt by the community at the time-particularly through innovative means such as heartfelt supplication and mourning for Imam Hussein.

Al-Hakim called for promoting positivity within society and shedding light on the achievements that have been made, stressing that electoral competition should be grounded in service and practical programs rather than narrow personal interests.

He further underlined the need for ambitious plans capable of driving real change in the political and social landscape of the country, noting that moderation and centrism remain the most effective path toward building a strong state capable of ensuring political, social, and economic stability while meeting public expectations.

Al-Hakim concluded by emphasizing the importance of strengthening the culture of moderation within society and promoting it as a unifying national approach that can achieve widespread public satisfaction.
