Baghdad: On the anniversary of the Yazidi genocide, Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, renewed his call to reveal the fate of the missing and to rebuild Sinjar.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, on the twelfth anniversary of the Yazidi genocide, al-Hakim emphasized the importance of addressing these unresolved issues. In a statement, al-Hakim expressed his remembrance of the victims and reiterated his demands for accountability and justice. He highlighted the need to uncover the fate of the missing individuals, hold those responsible for the genocide accountable, and ensure justice for the survivors. Additionally, al-Hakim called for the reconstruction of Sinjar and the dignified return of its displaced residents.
