Baghdad: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, emphasized the importance of regional stability and prioritizing dialogue over force. A statement from his office today said: “Al-Hakim received a delegation from the Atlantic Council at his office on Sunday evening, where they exchanged views on the political developments in Iraq and the region.”
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim stressed the importance of maintaining stability in Iraq and working to consolidate it and transform it into lasting stability, highlighting Iraq’s pivotal role in regional stability, a fact proven by the experiences and challenges it has faced in recent years.
He pointed out that Iraq has overcome security, social, and political challenges, and today faces an economic challenge: the need to diversify its sources of income and move away from the rentier state model.
He emphasized the importance of regional stability and prioritizing dialogue over force, affirming that solutions remain possible if there is a genuine will to find a solution among all parties.
