Al-Hakim Urges Budget Amendments and Solutions for Project Financing

Baghdad: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, has called for progressing with amendments to the national budget to enhance public benefit and social justice. This appeal was made during his leadership at the regular meeting of the National Wisdom Movement’s Opinion Board.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim congratulated participants on the arrival of the holy month of Sha’ban, a significant period attributed to the Messenger of God. The month marks the auspicious births of the pure Imams Al-Hussein, his brother Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas, and his son Imam Al-Sajjad. The meeting included discussions on various agenda items and recent regional developments.

Al-Hakim emphasized the importance of responding to events with balanced reasoning, neither underestimating nor exaggerating the challenges. He stressed the importance of addressing these challenges to mitigate their potential negative impacts. He called for the cohesion of the internal front, unity in stance, resolution of crises, and implementation of the government program.

Additionally, Al-Hakim highlighted the recent prisoner exchange process in Gaza as a victory for the Palestinians and cautioned against any projects that aim to displace the people of Gaza to other countries. He reiterated his call for budget amendments to ensure public benefit and social justice and urged the government to find solutions to issues related to project financing.
