Baghdad: The Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, has called on all political and social forces to overcome differences, adhere to national principles, and work collaboratively to safeguard Iraq’s sovereignty.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim made this appeal in a statement marking the anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi state. He emphasized the importance of remembering the struggles and sacrifices made by the Iraqi people in their quest for freedom, sovereignty, and independence. Al-Hakim highlighted the anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on Iraq’s journey, review the challenges and achievements, and renew commitments to building a strong, unified, prosperous, and just nation.

Al-Hakim reiterated his call for political and social forces to set aside their differences, stressing the importance of adhering to national principles to protect Iraq’s sovereignty and unity. He underscored the necessity of working together to fulfill the aspirations of the Iraqi people.

He further stressed that Iraq’s future depends on the cohesion of all its components, adherence to the constitution, and the establishment of a modern, just state that respects the rights of all citizens without discrimination.
