Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, cautioned voters about electing candidates who invest excessively in their election campaigns, emphasizing that such spending exceeds the legitimate earnings of members of parliament over a four-year term.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim made these remarks during a meeting with a large group of Kyokushinkai athletes on Saturday evening. During the gathering, he also extended his condolences on the anniversary of the passing of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), noting the Prophet’s unparalleled contribution to human perfection and his establishment of a reformist project rooted in justice and truth.

Al-Hakim underscored the role of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a universal role model, urging adherence to his ethical and moral teachings, which are rich with significant values. He reflected on the Prophet’s emergence from a barren desert, advocating the oneness of God with unwavering determination, patience, integrity, and sincerity, all underpinned by divine guidance despite facing numerous challenges and accusations.
