Baghdad: Parliament Speaker Heibat al-Halbousi discussed bilateral relations and the enhancement of cooperation across all fields with the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Glenn Miles, on Thursday.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Media Office of the Parliament Speaker stated in a release that “Parliament Speaker Heibat al-Halbousi received the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Glenn Miles, on Thursday.”

The statement added that “the meeting addressed bilateral relations and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in all areas, as well as regional and international developments and a number of issues of mutual interest.”
