Kirkuk: The Head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, conducted a significant meeting with the Kirkuk Provincial Council to address pressing issues in the province. Upon his arrival, al-Halbousi was welcomed by the Head of the Provincial Council, Mohammed Ibrahim al-Hafez, and the Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Tamim.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Halbousi engaged in discussions with members of the Provincial Council, senior staff, and heads of administrative units. The talks centered around the current situation in Kirkuk Governorate. A key focus was the importance of unified efforts by political forces to uphold security and stability within the province. Moreover, al-Halbousi emphasized the necessity of providing adequate support to the local government. Discussions also highlighted increasing financial allocations as a crucial step for advancing projects that align with the aspirations of Kirkuk’s residents.
