Baghdad: Parliament Speaker Heibat al-Halbousi held discussions on Thursday with the Russian Federation’s Ambassador, Elbrus Kutrashev, focusing on bilateral relations and strategies to enhance joint cooperation across multiple sectors.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Media Office of the Parliament Speaker announced in a statement that al-Halbousi met with Ambassador Kutrashev as the latter concludes his tenure in Iraq. The meeting concentrated on exploring avenues to fortify the collaborative efforts between Iraq and Russia.
