Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi has reiterated his commitment to safeguarding Iraq’s sovereignty and interests, emphasizing the importance of keeping the nation out of ongoing regional conflicts while ensuring its security and stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Halbousi’s media office released a statement detailing his recent visit to the Ministry of Defense headquarters. During his visit, he engaged in discussions with the Chief of Staff of the Army along with various commanders and directors from different branches of the Iraqi Army.
