Al-hilal: Al-Hilal Saudi Club officially announced the signing of Dutch winger Crescencio Summerville for four seasons, coming from West Ham United. The Saudi capital club presented its new player on Friday, with the signing ceremony taking place in Austria in the presence of Prince Nawaf bin Saad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hilal Club.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the deal is worth pound 65 million to West Ham, including a fixed fee of pound 55 million and pound 10 million in add-ons. The player will receive an annual salary of approximately pound 15 million. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had previously confirmed that Italian club Roma had entered the race to sign Summerville for pound 46 million, but Al-Hilal ultimately secured the deal.

Al-Hilal posted on its official Twitter account: “10:00 AM Saudi time… All roads lead to Riyadh,” referring to their victory over Roma in the race for the Dutch winger. As part of their preparations for the new season, Al-Hilal defeated South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0, with Brazilian winger Malcom scoring both goals for the “Leader”.
