Baghdad: Air Force coach Fathi Al-Jabali has confirmed the team’s readiness to face North Gas and expressed his pleasure at holding his first press conference in Baghdad. He highlighted the importance of the upcoming match and the team’s preparedness to secure a victory.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Jabali remarked on the team’s recent performances, stating, “We played two matches away from home and managed to secure two points against two teams with large fan bases, as we witnessed on the field.” He acknowledged the challenge posed by North Gas, a young and promising team recently promoted to the Iraqi Premier League. Al-Jabali observed their previous matches and noted their competitive spirit and talented young players.

Al-Jabali emphasized that Air Force is prepared for the encounter and aims to secure three points, particularly as the match will be played on their home ground, in front of their fans. He mentioned the need for time to achieve their desired level of play, but expressed confidence in the team’s ability to recover during matches.

Regarding the AFC Champions League draw, Al-Jabali asserted that Air Force is a renowned team on the continent, recognized for its Asian achievements. He expressed high confidence for the tournament, stating, “We will go to the tournament with high confidence, and God willing, we will be a force to be reckoned with and deliver a performance worthy of the Air Force name.”
