Mosul: The head of the Trade and Border Crossings Committee in the Nineveh Provincial Council, Nadia Nasser al-Jubouri, has initiated discussions on mechanisms to facilitate the movement of goods through the Mosul Dam checkpoint.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Jubouri emphasized that the smooth flow of goods necessitates simplifying procedures for traders while ensuring compliance with existing regulations and instructions. During a meeting with Mohammed Ali, the head of the customs checkpoint, she highlighted the importance of organizing work and collecting customs duties in a clear and systematic manner.

Al-Jubouri further stressed the need for enhanced coordination among relevant authorities to expedite procedures and minimize the time required for the movement of trucks and goods. She noted that improving the level of services and organizing work effectively is crucial to supporting commercial activity in the Nineveh Governorate.
