Al-Kaabi, Egyptian Ambassador Stress The Need To Unify Positions On Crucial Issues In The Region

Baghdad The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hassan Al-Kaabi, stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Egypt in the fields of economy, investment, culture, building cities, the residential sector and refineries, in addition to confronting terrorism, and benefiting from the Egyptian experience in the development sector, as it has become a pioneer at the Arab and regional level.

Al-Kaabi agreed with the Egyptian ambassador to Iraq, Walid Ismail, during his meeting today, on the need to unify effective positions at the governmental and parliamentary levels regarding the crucial issues facing the region, especially the Palestinian issue.

He praised Cairo’s supportive stance for the Palestinian people, pointing out the importance of effective cooperation in the matter of giving the necessary facilities to students, residents and merchants.

In turn, the Egyptian ambassador expressed his country’s full support for the security, stability and prosperity of Iraq and the consolidation of comprehensive cooperation between the two brotherly countries, considering this a top priority for the government and people of Egypt.
