Baghdad Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi affirmed that he is honored to be in the holy land of Karbala, the land of martyrdom and values.

Al-Kadhimi said during his meeting with the local government and the leaders of the security services in Karbala: “Serving the visitors, protecting them, facilitating their requirements and providing all assistance to them, is not a natural duty that you all have to do, but it is a great moral, human and religious duty.”

He continued, “We present to the world an example of how the Iraqis perpetuate their spiritual and religious values, with cooperation and integration between the simplest citizen and the most senior official in the state,” stressing: “Every visitor of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein plays the same role as the prime minister, governor, officer and any employee, Those in the streets of Karbala are our role models and leadership
