– Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi said: “My visit to Washington is to organize the US-Iraqi relations and the withdrawal of combat forces.”
He added in a televised statement: “We do not need American combat forces, but we need a training and intelligence role.”
He continued, “We have taken real steps to protect diplomatic missions, and a large group of violators have been arrested. We will protect all state institutions in all regions of the country.
