Baghdad: Al-Karkh Police Command has announced the arrest of a suspect deemed to be one of the most dangerous forgers involved in manipulating real estate transactions, specifically title deeds.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the suspect was a professional forger who created false data and manipulated official documents to illegally transfer property ownership, exploiting these activities for financial gain. The suspect's criminal activities involved generating fake documentation to facilitate unauthorized property transactions.

The police revealed that the arrest was the result of an intelligence operation combined with meticulous field surveillance. This effort, which spanned a significant period, involved gathering detailed information about the suspect's movements and criminal methods. A strategically planned ambush led to the suspect's capture while engaged in illegal activities, and legal proceedings have been initiated against him in accordance with the law.
