Baghdad: Al-Karkh University of Science recently held discussions with Imam Reza International University to enhance scientific and research cooperation. The focus of these discussions was to develop mechanisms for strengthening academic ties, broadening joint work areas, and exchanging academic and scientific expertise between the two institutions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting featured prominent figures such as Jumaa Salman Jiyad, President of Al-Karkh University of Science, and Ibrahim Daneshfar, President of Imam Reza International University, among others. The two universities deliberated on collaborative research initiatives and the exchange of knowledge between their faculty members. They also discussed organizing joint scientific visits and participating in academic conferences and seminars.

The discussions extended to postgraduate studies, where both institutions explored opportunities to form joint research teams and projects in priority scientific disciplines. There was a clear emphasis on moving beyond traditional exchanges to establish concrete academic and research programs tailored to meet the institutions’ needs in higher education and scientific research.

This initiative is part of Al-Karkh University of Science’s broader strategy to build international academic partnerships, thereby enhancing research opportunities and developing joint scientific endeavors that align with both universities’ strategic priorities.
