Baghdad: The leader of the Sovereignty Party, Khamis Al-Khanjar, has made a public appeal for an immediate response from Arab and Islamic nations to address what he describes as a comprehensive Zionist campaign of destruction targeting Palestinian and Lebanese villages and towns. Al-Khanjar emphasized the urgent need to protect innocent civilians caught in the conflict. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Khanjar issued a statement condemning what he termed as acts of genocide by the Zionist occupation forces in Jabalia. He accused the forces of employing prohibited weapons, including explosive barrels, to maximize casualties and destruction, particularly in Gaza's cities. The statement highlighted the severe impact on hospitals and critical infrastructure, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. Al-Khanjar reiterated his call for an urgent collective stance from Arab and Islamic countries, stressing the dire humanitarian situation marked by the displacement of defenseless civilians. He urged for imme diate action to prevent further escalation and alleviate the suffering of the affected populations in Palestine and Lebanon.
