Al-Lami Commends the Role of Journalists in Wasit Governorate


Wasit: The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, visited the syndicate’s branch in Wasit Governorate, met with members of the journalistic community, and inquired about their circumstances and professional needs. Al-Lami praised the distinguished role of Wasit journalists in supporting the national media landscape, emphasizing the syndicate’s commitment to removing obstacles to their work and strengthening the presence of Iraqi journalism in various governorates.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Lami called for the establishment of professional training courses for media college graduates to develop their capabilities and refine their practical skills, in line with the demands of contemporary media work. For their part, the journalists in Wasit appreciated this visit, which reflects the syndicate head’s and council’s interest in following up on branch affairs, stressing its importance in strengthening communication and developing professional and media performance.
